Butuan ~ City Views

Butuan Golden tara Built by Japanese engineers, this 2 Billion Php cable-stayed steel bridge which was opened to traffic on early 2007 is now one of the Philippines’ most beautiful bridges.
It has a singular tower connected by viaduct roadways at both eastern and western approaches to a new 13 kilometer By Pass Highway thus making it as the country’s only bridge with the longest roadway. An engineering feat by local standards and one of its kind in the country.

Butuan and Beyond ~ ENCHANTED RIVER of Hinatuan
Hinatuan, a town three and half hour ride away south of Butuan is blessed with an adventure destination that exudes awe and enchantment.
Hidden deep in the village of Cambatong, located thirty to 40 minutes from Hinatuan town is a pristine crystal blue river.
Its deep blue color comes from the Pacific Ocean that flows to the river from deep underwater crevices.
According to local folks, no one has ever fathomed its depths as it is said to be guarded by spirits.
But one thing for sure that makes this jewel enchanted is that once you take a dip into it, you don’t want to come out from its cool cystal clear blue waters.
